About First Town Days
Our "Other" Purposes...
Beyond all the fun and excitement that the First Town Days Festival brings to our community, their are other purposes that we serve. The First Town Days Festival Committee works and exists to support various projects at our beautiful festival venue, Tuscora Park.
In addition to raising funds to support those projects, First Town Days also takes pride in sponsoring a number of direct Scholarships each year. These awards, known as the Al Maloney Scholarships, are awarded to graduates of our local Tuscarawas County High Schools. We are pleased to announce that our scholarship program will continue to be directly and very generously supported by New Philadelphia VFW Post 1445.
We strive to support and promote Tuscora Park and to promote a sense of community for the citizens of the City of New Philadelphia and Tuscarawas County as a whole. And of course...to also have fun doing it.
