ED KILPATRICK

Rock'n'Roll Favorites

Edward Kilpatrick has been part of the Tuscarawas County music scene for over 40 years. His parents gave him an acoustic guitar on his 7th birthday and he hasn’t stopped since. Ed has played in numerous local bands over the last four decades including TC Blitz, Brass Knuckle, Public Outcry, Shoktaw, KRAMM, Righteous Child, Uppercut, as well as handling lead guitar duties for Mike Albert and the Big E band, one of the USA’s premier Elvis tribute acts. Coming full circle, Ed is now back to the acoustic guitar, playing solo shows as Ed’s Acoustic Thingy, covering a wide variety of musical genres from Neil Young, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, AC/DC, and everything in between. “I just love the challenge of taking these big songs and stripping them down to one guitar and one voice. And it really gets fun when the audience starts yelling out their requests!” Ed’s Acoustic Thingy can be found all over Tuscarawas, Stark, and Summit counties, and you can keep up with the schedule on Facebook.
