Welcome to the Summer Showcase Concerts at New Philadelphia's
beautiful
Tuscora Park Amphitheater!
Under the direction of Producer Sam Hitchcock, we have an extraordinary schedule of events guaranteed to entertain and delight everyone. Relax, kick off your shoes and enjoy the warm summer nights of music at beautiful Tuscora Park. The Tuscora Park Amphitheater is the perfect setting for Summer Showcase with its view of the entire park, and the overhead canopy of cooling trees. The feeling is that of an earlier time and reminiscent of a Normal Rockwell Painting. It affords us an opportunity to relax and recharge our batteries before returning to the work week on Monday.
The Summer Concerts are produced by RTY Inc and supported by area businesses, individuals and organizations in the form of advertising, patron listings, program sponsorships, and free-will donations. Our thanks go out to them for their continued support and patronage of this excellent program. RTY is a not-for-profit organization formed by the New Philadelphia Rotary Club to operate and maintain the rides and concessions at the park. Their efforts and contributions have made this park a true showcase and a prime entertainment venue for the entire community.
We welcome you back to the BEST SUMMER CONCERT SERIES anywhere. If this is your first visit , we offer you a special welcome and invite you to return often. If you are one of our many regulars, you know you are in for a wonderful experience. If you have traveled from out of town, we thank you for visiting and invite you to spend some time with us.
Visit our beautiful and historic downtown and walk the pleasant streets of our city, or attend services at one of our beautiful and inspiring churches. Shopping, lodging and dining are conveniently located for your use. Stop at the conveniently located Convention & Visitors Bureau in downtown New Philadelphia, across from the Tuscarawas County Courthouse, where information on local attractions and activities are available.
Historic sites abound! Enjoy and visit to Schoenbrunn State Park, the site of the first Christian Settlement in Ohio. Also, a must for history buffs is the outdoor theatre performance of "Trumpet in the Land" in its 37th season, which chronicles the trials and tribulations of those early missionaries.
Come, and enjoy a summer's evening of music, fun and fellowship at the Tuscora Park with our Summer Showcase!
